*****RM UPDATE*******
Hello all,
Finally got to a computer!
I have a number of news items to share; some of the information here is the first place it is being officially posted:
--RM 007
It is REALLY in production and set for release in the first quarter of 2005. This is a real call, despite the several starts and stops of the past year. The movement is being made by Soprod in Switzerland. The appearance is the same high tech exterior as we are used to, with the case slightly narrower. There is a cool 'romantically technical' aspect which makes the watch unique, technical and still with a feminine touch...although there's no reason a guy might not like it! Pic to be released later, you'll see them here first...

This is going to be awesome. The lightest tourbillon ever created. Seen that the 006 was only 42 grams without watchband, this is really going to be something. Richard is working with a super specialist in materials technology to go to the limits of stength and lightness, using space age materials. I've seen the designs, but can only post when I get the go ahead. You'll be the first to see it here. Don't get too excited though; it is going to be a limited edition of 30 pieces, and astronomical in price. Another study in going to the outer limits.

Still top secret; the designs were just finished on the 23rd September. It will not be limited (as announced previously) and will be extremely unique in all repects- and cutting edge in all respects too. All I can divulge right now is that it will be far removed from the racetrack of Formula 1....a different environment 
--Bracelets
After being in Sinagapore and experiencing the moisture and heat, I began to understand the need for metal bracelets, and many people asked me about such for the RM watches.At present only all kinds of leather and a some rubber bracelets are available. Metal bracelets were not available, but at the request of many people, a new design has been made, and it will be tried out first with the 007 ladies watch. If it is positively experienced, then it will be made for the men's series also. Richard is concerned at striking the right esthetic and technical balance, as designing a bracelet is not easy at all, with comfort, durability and looks being a demanding combination.
