"Honest, Sir, there's a good excuse!!!"...
So: what's a guy to do? This new/vintage Omega arrived from Bonham's today (thank you for the excellent care, Bonham's) and, courtesy of those irrational CITES regulations, it arrived sans strap. Regrettably, there were no spare straps in the strap box which were the right dimension - other than this rather loud NATO. So, what would you do? Wait until you can get out and buy a decent leather/croc/gator/lizard strap, or put it on NATO straight away and take the flak from your Purist buddies??? It's a no-brainer, right?
(Don't worry: it's only temporary!).

Congratulations! You outbid me on that watch and I had missed the earlier gold cross-haired one as well, which was surprisingly sold on a bargain bid. I missed a few others at that auction but managed to grab a pretty Cartier as a Christmas stocking-fille...

Hi PPlater, Actually this is not a re-dial! I would rather call it a replacement dial of unknown source. They have been sold for a while on ebay... I think it is far better to have this kind of dial installed than a bad re-done example. The watch is not a...
