It would be much appreciated, if fellow members can advise me what is the difference between the two (16618 and 16808), in terms of their case design and movement. Everything (condition and price, etc) being equal, which is the better of the two to buy, in view of its potential as a desirable collector's watch, in the near future.

Have you considered the 1680/8?
