I can't remember having so much anticipation before an SIHH... and the anticipation was richly rewarded
well only one place to begin.... the 372, truely speechless after seeing this..
I love the proper vintage case...roll on 6154, its closer now for sure...
I love the plexi glass...infact all this makes this the most historic of all the editions.
I for one , am happy that 3000 are being made (over next 2 years from what I can gather)
This will hopefully allow all to share in this magnificent piece and keep the sharks away.....
I just asked my AD to get me one......
Bronze? are you kidding me.....nah no way ...then you see it
and to see it is too fall in love.....
I loved everything about it, even the dial, the green dial...its perfect for me to go with that bronze case
choosing the Sub 1950 case was sheer genius, and that strap....
OMG.....I so badly want this one...
I phoned the AD......
For last few months I did think about getting a 1950 Fiddy..., that was possibly going to be my first 47....
and then...pow...the 375.....
i loved the 386 when it was released early and made a pre-order..now....
thank God that is not a ltd.ed. the 386 is my bridge too far (maybe next year..) , because the 375.....I phoned the AD
my budget is blown for the whole year already..and pieces will have to leave my collection to make way for these 47mm trio...
Just hope Basel 2011 is rubbish...... (somehow I dont think Patek will be......
)
but the story does not end there....
there are more bridges that are just too far......
I adored the new chrono, 356 the new fantastic ceramic 384.....
the gorgeous 42mm Radiomir chronograph...369, I loved this watch too.....
and now... the Pam 373
For many this will be the ultimate , but not for me...
This was a oppertunity for all those who have been over the years die hard fans of the historic,
the brown dial, platinum case may make it exclusive, but kills the piece from an historic perspective for me...
for all the reasons I love the 372, and I can't warm to the 373
I hope for all those that bought the 1938, 1936, 1950 Fiddy and MM 1950 Leftie, Panerai make a steel version with black diall in a better production number
it won't be for me... I have my dream on the 6154....which feels closer.. and for that I am gratefull
overall, I think this has been a wonderful SiHH for OP.. and I congratulate them.
If all goes well...3 47 are on thier way
Best
Imran
