3 registers chronograph: some photos and questions

 

Hi,

A couple of days ago, I saw a 3 registers chronograph, and today, I took my camera with me and shot some fussy photos (my apologies for that ). I believe it's from Les Complications Collection, early 90's, because this model of chronograph was discontinued in mid 90's. It has a 1137 cal, automatic, with date aperture at six, just in the lower part of the seconds sub-dial, with tachymeter.

And at my knowledge, there exists a similar model, the only major difference (except the lugs) is that the latter has no tachymeter (the picture is from internet resourse, too):




I'd like to know your comments about this model of chronograph. Any first hand experience? How is it like in comparison with the 2 registers manual wound chronograph? Any input will be welcome.
