Next week, I will wear again my first Lange of my collection, the 1815 PT. I don't know why but a few days before the SIHH, I wish to have an 1815 on the wrist!
The watch may seem to be small if we consider today's standards. But thanks to its simplicity, it is fine on my wrist.
I can spend hours explaining why I love this watch. I will give you two main reasons:
- the very smooth manual winding
- the density thanks to the platinum case
And... well... I will not forget the beauty of the combo blued hands & silver dial!
I often say that it is very complicated to create a simple watch but Lange managed to do it!

Dear Xavier, Those are fine mighty shots, and the watch throughout all these years still mantains it's classicism, the way Lange intended it to be! I do hope to do a write up soon on my own 1815! Oh, and i do LOVE the way you wrote this statement " The de...
