5712 losing power reserve on watch winder
Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question.
From what I understand, the 5712 has a unidirectional rotor.
I have recently started to put mine on an Underwood winder, which goes 30 minutes clockwise, then 30 minutes counterclockwise, then stops for 3 hours before repeating the cycle.
I noticed that the watch loses around 10 hours of power reserve each day when on the winder.
Is this normal? Will getting a unidirectional winder help?

Thanks for the responses All, I have been wearing the watch all day (7 hours or so now) today, and i was not just sitting at my desk. However, the watch did not gain any power reserve or only very little if it did. But at least the reserved power did not ...
