A first JLC for me . . . .

 

And I couldn't be happier with the new arrival! I had a the great pleasure to see a few of these in the flesh at a dinner in New York earlier this summer, and it was the only prodding I needed to push me over the edge.  I have great respect for JLC's passion behind this project as well as the passion of so many involved behind the scenes. . . . and have the great fortune to call several of them friends.  It seems this watch sickness  strikes us all at different times in different ways, but it becomes a life long passion to continue learning and living. So much history in so many great brands, and so much future as well.  As an introduction to JLC for me . . .  .this special piece builds on that past and the future of JLC . . ..at least to me smile

Had to share a few quick pics since I'm in love with the new arrival . . and my thanks again to the Beverly Hill Boutique, the wild man (you know who you are) and those current and future owners at our dinner who helped me realize the error of my hesitating ways smile . . .have a great week all!

For sure, you made an excellent decision, my friend. As you wrote, the NSA is a watch which mixes Present ( Compressor crowns ) and Past, somewhere between the Polaris, the Deep Sea Alarm, and the Vintage Diving Jaeger watch. A watch with a great presence...

snapped a few more quick pics this morning before Hurricane Earl starts to invade NYC . . . pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this piece continues to wear on the wrist. I may switch up the strap option to an all black version, but beyond that I thin...
