Horological Meandering

A fun watch from...Sinn.

The 556 "carneol red" from their latest limited series of colorful dials.

Typically we associate Sinn with no-nonsense instrument watches.For me personally the combination of the industrial design language with this vibrant dial color is very attractive.

I always had a sweet spot for Sinn : no bla-bla marketing story telling,no celebrities parties,no bling-bling but just honest watch making .

The dial is the star of the show with a somewhat metallic grainy surface much like fine sandpaper.

Powered of course by the trustworthy SW-200.To be noted is the very good regulation of the movement (well within chronometer limits).

And a sunny wrist shot that shows that this 38.5 mm watch has a real good presence on my 17cm wrist.

All in all a perfect watch for the summer ...and at a very fair price point.

Sinn has quite a few attractive watches...and they are well made.

And a reliable movement? Yes they do look attractive

They mostly use Sellita movements which are proven and which have the advantage of being very service friendly. They also regulate the movements in-house and you can expect good accuracy levels (mostly within chronometer limits).
