A possible incoming...

 

My wife has temporarily lifted the ban against any new watch purchases. This "grace" comes with s condition, however, that this new watch must be a Cartier to pair up with her Santos 100.

Overwhelmed by and overjoyed at this news, and to make the most of this opportunity, I decided not to waste any time and rushed to the AD last evening.

Tried a few ones that interested me.

 The new 38mm Calibre de Cartier.

Personally I would go with the last one, Santos 100 Carbon with gold bezel. I believe this model has been out of production, so seeing a new one in person is a really pleasant surprise. It's something that I've never considered before, but after trying on different models, it became my obvious favorite.

Hopefully I can get the deal done as soon as possible. If I do get one, I'll do another post at the Cartier forum.

Am so happy for you although I was hoping you could get the new Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum so we can have our bro watches again lol! Agree with you amongst the few choices the carbon with RG bezel looks the best on your wrist! Keep us posted...

.... the last one, the Santos Carbon is definitely the watch I think that fits you best - and also pairs nicely with your better half's Cartier. And I also agree with you that it is best to exploit the female change of opinion as long as it lasts; the win... 

As with the rest, the Santos Carbon/Gold looks superb!
