A quick wrist-shot, even though Father's Day didn't quite turn out as expected.
Still good, all things considered. A meal of lamb cutlets, asparagus, cauliflower rice with parmesan, butter and garlic, and a nice bottle of savingon blanc, different from my usual red burgundy with lamb.
JLC compressor chrono. Unmistakeably distinctive. 
A quick trip to the urgent care for four stitches. Freak accident. In and out in less than an hour. Thankfully didn't ruin Father's Day. 
And a nice bottle of Sauvignon blanc with dinner. This has been a great house wine for me. Excellent QPR.

I really do enjoy the watches with complexities that are not evident until you really examine it closely. Happy Father's Day to you John. Glad the accident only took 4 stitches to fix!

Was The accident in any way watch related? Maybe due to the unpolished sharp lugs? Wine and family plus time should heal all wounds! Feel better
I wish it was watch related; then I could justify the purchase of another, safer piece :)

My PanoMaticLunar gave me a nasty cut in the finger once.
I was trying to remove my shirt with the watch on. The lugs are pretty sharp.
Ouch! I just came home from a fun evening in the ER ...
Luckily not me, but sadly the missus with torn achilles. Not a very fun way to spend the evening, in a room with 50 other miserable people... at least they have it immobilized in a boot and we'll go back for more diagnosis tomorrow. Are there any orthopae...
