| Hi all, Massimo Macaluso, CEO of JeanRichard, was in Singapore recently and I have the honour to have lunch with him together with some good friends. This is the first time that i met Massimo in person and he is a very nice gentleman and extremely friendly, and we all have very good impression and high respect to this young CEO. Massimo brought along with him some watches to show us. On one of his wrist (can't remember which one, haha) there was a black cased Bressel 1665 that looks very much like a ceramic case. Massimo explained that it is not a ceramic case but a Grossy finished PVD coated stainless steel case! The watch looks mysterous and yet very handsome. Here is a shot I have taken under the restaurant lighting and please pardon the finger prints and poor lighting: ![]() According to Massimo, a famous local retailer has approached him to produce this particular model exclusively in a limited series for their boutique and both parties are on final negotiation on this matter. I really hope that they will eventually produce this watch as I believe this will be a hit when it is officially released! Another prototype is the Tourbillon that Peter has shown us some times ago. I am putting up this picture again to show you how beautiful this watch is, even when it is just a prototype: ![]() Okay, you might be interested what other watch Massimo was wearing on "the other" wrist, here it is - the Bressel 1665 Havana. We've got Massimo to take this watch out of his wrist and place in on a wine glass instead ![]() Other watches shown to us include this ladies Bressel, where Dr.Cathryn Chan has mischievously put in between the flower decoration on the table, and it turns out well I must say: ![]() And this Chrono in yellow gold casing: ![]() And this Regulateur in the Steel Bressel 1665 series: ![]() JeanRichard has been growing very steadily in S.E.Asia and we certainly hope to see more of Massimo and his great team in this part of the world. JR1000 has been magnificent since its development and I especially like the fact that it is so versatile with different modules or modifications that JR has worked and developed for/on it. Kudos to JeanRichard and tahnk you guys for reading this post. Cheers kokChoon from Singapore |
