Jaeger-LeCoultre

After a few weeks of searching....

and reading alot of postings from you guys, I have finally gotten my JLC Master Hometime over the weekend. Like many others, getting their first "real" watch and a JLC is a real experience.....a BIG thank you to everyone on this forum for helping me make my decision. The postings have been a great help.

Being new into all this, I am still figuring out the terminologies used by you guys. Just want to make sure I am doing the right thing and taking care of the watch

When winding the crown? What direction should it be; looking at the face of the crown (where you see 'JLC')?

I also found a posting from January that says ".... The JLC cal. 975 is unidirectional winding, but counterclockwise!....."

Is this with reference to the winding of the crown or on a winder....i really have no idea and I really don't wish to kill my watch.

Can someone be so kind as to enlighten this apprectice.
