After waiting for twenty years: The IWC Mark XX
No joke, I have been looking at the different IWC Mark series for twenty years before I pulled the trigger this morning. I really liked the previous models but when they launched the Mark XX with the improved power reserve, the increased depth and the bracelet which can be adjusted without any tools I knew that time had come to buy it! So here it is in all of its glory! Although the version with the black matte dial is the original look I prefer the blue dial making it my summer watch😉

Now that is patience, especially with such a great piece.
The choice of blue v. black dial must have been hard, but this blue is excellent.

Yeah, it took some time but while I was waiting there were enough other brands to enjoy😉
Seriously though, 20 goes by too fast *sigh*
But as you say, we have enough to be thankful, including this hobby, so no complaints.

Wow! Is that a blue or a green dial?
I am colour blind, so forgive me for asking, but on your picture the dial looks greenish/ blue but I am guessing it’s blue so I am already looking forward to seeing different shades of blue on my dial😉and hi back👋
