And this tourbillon arrives home on my wrist today
I posted about tourbillon watches a couple of times on the forum, trying to get direction as to what to expect on the wrist.
I have been wanting to add one to my collection for a long time and finally became serious about doing so 2 months ago.
I wanted it to be a "Swiss-made" one and I looked at many designs, sizes, metals, and prices.
None seemed to fit my style in terms of looks, legibility, and design. Then, of course, with money a big factor,
I saw some atronomically priced ones costing more than my condo. Ha!
Very lovely indeed, but I didn't want to sell my home so I could have another watch to wear on my wrist.
My AD looked high and low for a couple of months, trying to find the right one.
And one day, he sourced this NOS Portugieser and asked, "What about this one?" And like the Goldilocks story, this one was "just right".
It's definitely "me" in terms of looks, metal, ligibility, dial color, size, brand, and of course pricing too.
I am so happy to be able to stare at that twisting, turning, and gyrating complication on my wrist, finally.
HAGWE everyone, and thanks for reading. (And sorry for the poor pic quality)
