Any Info on Ref No. 3491/1
I inherited a Patek Philippe Ref No 3491/1
rectangular 18 K gold case with 18 K gold watch
band. It's ultra slim with a mainspring movement
(ie you have to wind it). I have the original
box/case that came with the watch.
It was purchased new in 1965 and had a retail price
of about $2,500 at that time.
I have not been able to find anything on Ref No. 3491/1
in searching the Internet.
Does anyone know anything about this watch?
I understand Patek Philippe did not
make many rectangular watches in the 1960's.
I will try to borrow a digital camera and post pictures.
