Asking for help with some 1815 questions....
Good morning,
I wanted to reach out with some quesitons about the 1815 Up Down Walter Lange Limited Edition piece.
1. Is the movement the same b/t the Limited Edition and the "regular" 1815 Up Down?
2. Is the Limited Edition watch limited to 50 pieces in total, or is it 50 pieces per metal (Ex. 50 in white gold, 50 in platinum etc.)?
3. What year was the Limited Edition introduced?
4. How would one determine what an appropriate price/value would be for the Limited Edition piece? If somone could reach out to me off-line with that guidance that would be most appreciated.
5. If one had their choice, would you go with the 1815 U/D or a Dornbluth?

True, they are in another league to Lange
But they are also quite different. Dornbluth watches are based on Unitas ebauches, but they have a degree of individual hand craft and individuality about them that rises above these relatively humble beginnings. I've handled one and very much enjoyed it....
