Each of them are limited to 3557 pieces or... In a set, limited to 557 pieces. The Seamaster 300 1957 is two miliimeters smaller than the current Seamaster 300 ( 39 mm / 41 mm ). The Railmaster 300 1957 is 38 mm big, Like the original. The Speedmaster 195...  

Plexi crystal isn\'t on all three... I am now counting the seconds until the Railmaster is in my hands!

We\'ll see, I need to hold it and make that decision. I sent an email instantly to the Sydney boutique though! So hopefully as soon as it\'s in I\'ll get to see it! I just asked \'to be on the waiting list\'.

I had same mixed feelings, in some way I find it unfair for the owners of the originals, but as a possible new owner of the watch I like, I couldn't be happier. Have I said it already? Best. Vte

totally crazy vintage prices. I am all for re-editions with modern movements.

One of my biggest complaints about this "retro fever", is about crazy prices. I respect and understand it, but from my passion I find it unfair, probably because I can not afford them, but that's the way I feel it. In this material world we live in these ...

....i actually like teh concept of owning both a modern and a vintage of teh same piece. At the same time, it does seem to be de rigeur across the industry to use this M.O. as it is so popular. On balance, I go with the trend. Further....take the original... 

my only point was, that there are lately too many of those re-editions. I'd also like to see some modern innovation.

Have been in the package already or should have made an appearance ages ago when they started the whole craze, but its that addige that companies will do whatever they can to sell you more watches and at least Omega finally listened to the masses. Althoug... 

The kit is obtainable but I'll pass. I do like the cleaner dial on the RM, but the Seamaster's bezel is just a thing of beauty.

I tend to agree with Arie's opinion about re-editions. I have an easier time with how TAG handled the Autavia - yes, there are clear differences, and owners of the originals will not have interest. But their pieces are also not directly copied. So I prefe... 

The SM is very cool.

I do wish they updated the RM just a little with a screw down crown, especially since it\'s an automatic. I understand that perhaps this was not possible because of the size of the crown. I also want a plexi Speedy Pro... I still haven\'t got one. Perhaps...

You could deliberate over whether vintage re-editions are \'unfair\' etc etc, but hey, for the vast majority of passionate collectors, what better way to acquire something that they could comfortably enjoy wearing every day! On the other hand, if one pref...

I don\'t think it looks \'old\'. The tritium lime watches look old, but they also look cool. So therefore, if we can make new Lume look a similar colour and it looks cool. Then let\'s make the watch with those tones. To me, it makes sense. They could\'ve ...

The masses would likely not buy these watches as they are too small and look old! Rolex catered to the masses with the SD and not to people on this or other watch enthusiast forum.

Notice the watches in the Trilogy box set have extra writing on the dial (1957-2017 I believe) and some extra engraving on the caseback. For me I don't want a date range printed on the dial so I'm buying mine separately. My favorite watch this year is def...

......not sure how i feel about itr....the trio set need to be differentiated somehow......the date, if subtle could be quite cool.

......L.E or plain vanilla, these are all great and fund watches........if it was THAT important to be exactly like the original vintage, I would say GET the original vintage. But for a modern iteration.....these are ALL winners.
