Breguet Chronograph, Reference 5247.
The Breguet Chronograph Ref 5247 is a reference we rarely mention when we discuss chronographs with manual winding movements.
This one is manual winding, which is not that common, and it has two other advantages:
- A 39 mm case, which is a very good size, in my opinion. It wears bigger in the real, actually.
- An enamel dial!
It exists in white gold, and in an ultra small limited edition, in yellow gold, this last one being a rattrapante!

It is not only beautiful, it is also refined with a touch of romantic and poetry.
This is the kind of Breguet I like!

I can hardly take my eyes off it. I am sure it would be impossible if it were on the wrist. I suspect the lugs may explain why it wears larger. I notice the 5207 seems larger than the Type XX although both are 39mm in diameter. The lugs on the Type XX cur...
