Actually I don't know, but my AD told me lately that they hardly ever get GO's with movement failures. We are talking about some of the finest German engineering here. But I have to go with Marcelo here; don't know what happens if you go to war with it. C...

Sorry for the hi jack but I give him this once a year. Then it is time for the yearly cleaning. I guess it's time. There is a lot of space to collect dust. Damn, I can't read the seriealnumber. Ok a fast rinse and we open it up. The movement looks ok. So ...

. . . typically robust, and the cal 90 . . . . . . is no exception. The anecdotal evidence I can share pertains to one of my cal 39 perpetuals, which survived a two-foot drop onto a tile floor without mechanical damage . . . the case suffered an indignity...  

Your anecdotal evidence makes me more determined to continue use the PML daily. Being a rolex wearer, maybe I'm just too naive to always relate beauty with vulnerability. Nice pic by the way RK
