Can we see your see-thru watches?
I know that some on here have shown completely transparent Rolex clones, and I suspect there are other plastic or sapphire cases.
I found this Roamer watch yesterday in one of my boxes of watch "stuff" - I don't recall where it came from. It seems to be running nicely after 18 hours.
Nice little movement but a bit shy of decoration and finishing
Strap retained with pressed-in hollow split-pins rather than spring-bars
Caseback conveniently removable with a fingernail.
Were these sample cases used by watch salesmen? I seem to recall hearing something like that once.
I searched Amazon for "clear plastic watch" and found lots of plastic watches ... but not mechanical ones.

it's never been worn and is a little coloured from being a display model but it's a fun piece..!!! Andy....
I can't see past the bunnies so maybe it doesn't count :-)
although the case is slightly translucent, it's not what I would call see-thru. But I do give you points for getting another picture of the Kama Sutra Swatch in this PG-rated forum. Cazalea
the masthead pic is a very nice mechanical clear plastic watch
its an EmAs, available only in London by mail order or via shopfront. available with ETA or Japanese auto movements. they are good value for an ETA auto, but whether they are good value for a plastic watch is debatable. bit of fun though and i might get o...
