Chocolate, anyone?
Here's my latest catch...A 1675 Gilt, chapter ring, and ...Brown dial.
In fact, I was hunting a 6542, and the few I saw in the flesh had a problem.
I saw many others in pics, but when 100 % correct, they are unaffordable.
So, I decided to focuse my hunt on a 1675 Gilt.
While I was thinking I will find a traditional, but beautiful deep black laquered dial, I fell on this watch:
This is also my first Rolex Brown dial...
Luck was on my side, this time!

It is hard for a brown dial watch...
....to look good! So there are only few brown dial watches in market But this vinatge rolex's aging bezel, red GMT hand and calf strap did a good job to match up! nice watch!

Brown dials are easily findable... In good condition, that's really another thing. As on the Vintage in general ,I'm the kind of guy to look for a watch in good condition, rather than in poor condition, which makes this kind of watch rarer to find, but wh...

Something atypic, which became familiar in the Rolex World... An original watch which became a Myth. In fact, if you really want, you could only collect the Rolex GMTs, as there were a lot of variations in the dials, crownguards, movements, bezels, hands ...
And I will stay with mine :)
