Contagiri continued
As a follow-up to my post of December 21st about my experience with the Contagiri,
"Please also note that we carefully tested your watch and it works perfectly as a Contagiri. I am sure that you will understand and be an adept of the Giuliano Mazzuoli’s way of time concept."
I direct your attention to this information on the company's website. "A jury composed of experts from the world of watchmaking and design examined the various watches of prestige and chose Guiliano Mazzuoli's Contagiri as watch of the year (2009).
While this sounds impressive, I'd be curious if the panel of judges agreed that an accuracy of + or - ten minutes was acceptable for such a prestigious piece of watchmaking.
I consider this to be a very expensive men's bracelet with numbers and on it that refer to the tachometer of an Alpha Romeo. This is not a watch. A watch keeps time.
Like I said before, Buyer Beware.
