Day-Date 40mm: Which Dial?

I am seriously considering adding a Rolex Day-Date 40mm to my current trio of a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15400, Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Chronograph and a Rolex Submariner Date. After delving a touch into Haute Horlogerie with two pieces (a Breguet and a Patek Philippe) I have come to the conclusion that my mental admiration for finely finished dressier pieces is incompatible with the realities of my life. As a result, I have hardly worn them.

So my thoughts have surprisingly turned to Rolex and one of their white gold Day-Date 40mm references (228239). The size is nice on the wrist, the engineering innovations of the new calibre 3255 have me interested, it is water resistant, and has dial lume. While somewhat formal, in white gold it is not too "blingy" and can also look like an everyday watch as well.

There are three dial variants that I am considering:

1) Black
2) Dark Rhodium Stripe Motif
3) Silver Stripe Motif

Both the blue and silver quadrant dials which non-lumed hands and roman numeral chapter ring are out of consideration.

I like them all for different reasons. The black is classic, high contrast with excellent legibility and leans towards the sportier side of formal. On the other hand I have two other black dialed watches. So diversity its not, but sometimes replicating what you like is just the ticket.

The dark rhodium stripe dial is a new color and the laser cut stripes are an elegant textural element. It is different from the other three (slightly). I am unsure about the legibility having never seeing one in the wild. It also leans to the sportier side of formal.

The silver stripe dial is also elegant and leans somewhat dressier. The silver hue diversifies my rotation along with black and white dials. I am also unsure about the legibility having never seeing one in the wild.

Which dial would you add to this trio?
