design longevity of Panomatic Lunar?
To all GO enthusiasts:
I am about to finally pull the trigger on purchasing a GO Panomatic Lunar (steel), a watch that I have admired since its release. Before that, I have been an admirer of GO in general, but in particular the Senator with Big Date and Moonphase.
Now that I am about to take the plunge, I am having some second thoughts about the Panomatic Lunar due to the "non-traditional" design/layout. I absolutely love the watch (and the Lange 1 for that matter) but wonder if this kind of design would survive the test of time. The reason I am thinking about this is that I would like to one day give the watch to my infant son and am wondering if a watch like Panomatic Lunar will "age" well like the Senator with a classic design. I read the earlier posting about the Senator versus Pano (particularly on the movement) and agree with the content.
It is sort of a weird question. Any thoughts from fellow GO enthusiasts would be greatly appreciated
