Diamond or a Piece of Coal?
I recently found in my grandmas possession this watch and I was curious about the name and searched on the internet to find that the manufacturer is a legend.
Can anyone please tell me if this is real or fake? I have attached some basic pictures which I took from my cell phone. Will upload high quality pics as soon as I get hold of my digicam. It will be a great help guys. Thanks a ton for everyones time and effort. Also if anyone can guide me to a thread on the key points to check on identifying Patek/VC kind of old watch's.
The Serial number model number on the backside is mentioned as : P83000 756033.

hate to tell you but its totally fake... Patek doesnt make a watch where you can view the escapement from the front... but it's suppose to look like a tourbillon for obvious reasons. Also, the caseback is a different color: it looks like steel where the w...
