Did somebody say black???

Hello guys,

could not resist to show you my black beauty...

It is an example out of  the Art  Collection - NO!  not Art´s collection    

I mean the Omega art collection which started 1986 and was continued until 1989 (AFAIK).

It was released in 3 different sizes: Maxi, Midi, Mini  -  this is the XL size with 40mm diameter and has some wrist presence!

It is very slim and wears comfortably - should have Cal. 1433 inside (did not open it) which is a quartz caliber - the only quartz watch

in my collection - could not think of that  one year before

The upper case is made of ceramic and sapphire crystal - so the watch looks virtually new, only the strap shows some light creasing

where the buckle sits when closed...   Due to the scratch resistance it may become a daily wearer - and it is suitable for casual

and business...

The back is made of stainless steel with a glass insert. The "picture" was created by Emilio Tadini 1987.

This model does not show up as often as "Max Bill" or "Richard Paul Lohse" do, which were earlier models.

As can be seen it was a limited edition of a total of 999 watches and this is number 122.

I like the watch because of her reduced pure design which reminds me strongly of Movado "Museum" model.
