Differences Between the two?

Hi all

I have an opportunity to buy a Glashutte Original Senator perpetual Calender at a good price, the older one, the one with the guilloche dail. I was wondering if I should buy it or hold off for the newer one? What are the differences between the two? I like the guilloche dail on the old one, but in my mind newer versions of anything is always better. Am I wrong to think that way? I was hoping some of our more knowledgeable Purists could assist me in my decision. Also if you could give your opinion on which you like better and why that would be Great. Thanks

How old is it? Cal 39 or Cal 100 ?
