Do you have days when only ONE watch will do?
I don't know why it is. I have one Panerai in my collection. A PAM 36. Just one Panerai. But I need that one. Because....and i can never tell when....only my PAM 36 will do.
I wonder how many PuristS suddenly find their normal tastes and preferences subjugated to an illogical quirk...a watch that just doesn't really fit in with the rest of their collection. For me, that is my PAM 36.
Some days...its the only watch that works for me.

No, seriously, I have maybe 20 to 30 watches which are the core of my collection. Which have most wrist time. I am trying to reduce... As you well know. I would gladly sell or trade 30 of my watches for 3. Interesting topic, my friend. And superb Panerai!...

.....of the 30 or so that you would trade out....are there watches that you "need" to wear...even if just once or twice per year. This is the Pam 36 for me. Its on my wrist maybe 3-4 days per year. But without fail, i get that yearning to wear it every ye...

ahhh...i misunderstood....
......its not that you would end with just 3....rather that you would trade 30 of the current collection to obtain 3 that you do not have. You know, the 6200 is not one of those three...i would go with a Duometre for sure. Which other two......uhm....not ...
