I've been contemplating the purchase of either the Senator Panorama date in steel or the PanoMaticLunar in steel.
Some questions about the Senator:
1) The GO website says it has a display back, but the 2 watches I've seen locally (in Chicago) have a solid back. Was this changed recently?
2) Why is the MSRP of the Senator Panorama date US$6100 while the MSRP of the Senator Chrono with date is only $4100? I'm by no means an an expert, but it seems to me that the chronograph would be a more expensive complication than a big date.
3) Similar question...the Senator Panorama date has a very similar appearance to the IWC Mark XV whose list price is only $2,995. What is it about the Senator that makes it worth 2 IWCs? Also, why do they both have triangles at the 12 o'clock position?
Thanks,
Pickles
