After the Tradition Tourbillon, I admired 2 Breguet Enamel Dials which were on my Wish List.
First, the 5140, in WG, for its timeless look, its very pure and warm enamel dial these " Breguet " numbers, and the lovely old looking indexes.
The YG or WG case is 40mm, which may be nothing compared with all these big watches, but due to a very open dial, and a quite slim case, the watch looks even bigger than it is...
The very nice blue hands are awesome and adds a slught and very elegant contrast to this white dial.
On the wrist, the impact is immediate, you feel that you can fall in love quite easily.
Then I tried another enamel dial, the reference 5177, which is available in YG or in WG.
The case is a bit smaller ( 38 mm ), and I'd even say that it is a bit better balanced than the 5140.
Same nice charactheristics, with a date...at 3, and a Central Second instead of the small seconds on the 5140..
A pity there is a date on this watch, as it would have been a very serious possibility, for me...
While the Case Back of the 5140 is solid, the one of the 5177 is a sapphire, allowing you to have an eye on the nice finish of the rotor and the movement.
Nothing exceptional, but nicely made, indeed.
So, I excluded these 2 watches from my wish list, mainyl because I recently found THE one I was hunting for so long, the Langematik Anniversary, which is really above these 2 Breguet, in terms of Finish and Balance.
BUT, if you are more in love with bigger watches, if you don't pay that much attention to movements, I highyl recommend these 2 lovely Breguet Enamel dials...
They are well made, and very pleasant to wear...
The other reason that made me put them off my list is that I found the winner which will be my 2d Breguet Watch, certainly...
Any guess?
LOL
Best to All!
