I've recently parted company with an Edward Piguet and would like to replace it with something dressy and with a tonneau style case. I like both the Gondolo 5111 - especially in white gold - and think the GP Vintage 1945 Grande Date Moonphase is quite nice. Of course the Patek is significantly more expensive (and will no doubt hold its value better) but I wonder if anyone has comments on how the two compare horologically and/or in terms of workmanship or other variables worth considering.
Thanks,
Peter
