Finally, I could handle the Senator Chronometer, thanks to Martin.
I have a high esteem for that watch. Nowadays, where are the manual winding chronometers?
This one is serious but not austere, charming, and bewitching.
The funny thing is that I am not a big fan of power reserve indicators, but here it works, like these old deck watches. I am not a big fan of dates, but here, we have a grande date nicely integrated.
The big small seconds is superb and reminds you that this watch is dedicated to accuracy.
And the german silver movement is nicely made, even if I would have loved to see more of it.
All in all, tempting, convincing.

how do you compare it to the limited Lange and Soehne for Wempe? I know it is manual against automatic with micro rotor.... Thx, Dirk

Here it is: Hence I would rather go for the G.O. Another reason of my preference, the movement, as the Wempe shares the same movement than the Langematik Anniversary and I much prefer the Anniversary. From a brand like Lange, I have a rule: Not two watche...
Never having handled the Lange for Wempe in the real I would still like to add some remarks.
While the seconds subdial on the Lange is very close to those of their old ship's chronometers and very nice I think that G.O.found a much better solution for the XII. Also I cannot understand why Lange left away the labels "Auf" (Up) and "Ab" (Down) on t...

owned by a great guy. This movement is awesome with the planet gears and the settings of the minute hand. So did it took the PanoInverse's place on your wishlist?

Good thing I already have the Chronometer so now I can think about the PanoInverse (original design). Thanks to a great PuristS who let me ay with his during the weekend. Best, Martin
