Friction in movement
Hello everyone
i have question about friction among components in movement. For example , in zeitwerk ,the dial-rings are same as date-ring in other watches, such as lange 1. however, the most date-ring is just put on the plate, which means there is friction between them , in zeitwerk case, since dial-rings has to rotate thousand times per day, i think the plate will be damaged .
How lange deal with this problem?

Obviously, the Zeitwerk system is much more demdanding than the classic date display. But I trust Lange about the reliability of the system. You have to consider that even if there are methods to simulate a long movement work, nothing can replace the real...
