This is a close-up of my Senator perpetual in a limited-edition black dial . . . it's identical to the production cal 39 Senator perpetuals in every regard save the charcoal black dial and the white moonphase indicator. At the time I purchased it (a little over two years ago) I also had a Senator power reserve with a silver dial which is a close cousin aesthetically to the perpetual. I wanted to buy a Senator perpetual to complement my two Karree perpetuals that wasn't too close in appearance to the power reserve (now sadly gone to a new home), but my first choice, the fabled steel Navigator perpetual, was long gone. My choices were then narrowed down to the two limited edition rose gold Senators, this one and the Navigator version; I preferred this model to the Navigator for it's subtle (but low visibility) dial design. I rarely wear it, but it has the distinction of being my most accurate performer at around - 1.5 seconds per day. Cordially, Art
