This year has been a revelation for me... after starting to collect years ago with a Rolex Explorer and onto nearly all the major brands to many independents... a wide range of complications... many, many trips to the service center... countless $ lost... I think (and that's with some hesitation) that I will be returning to Rolex.
Frankly, they are nearly bullet proof, timeless, and in today's pricing decent value. Now I'm not saying that I won't have a dalliance with patek now and again but after the various mechanical maladies suffered by my collection over the years and it seems every watch I bought this year... I think there is something to be said for gradual and methodical improvement of every rolex model.
So, I guess the next step will be which model... I'm leaning towards the ND Sub or the new Yachtmaster Blue dial... we'll see, that is unless, I get distracted again!

And luckily, you didn't catch the vintage Rolex bug! Nice selection of modern Rolexes, by the way. I still have to see the Blue YM, but I must say that the official pictures enthusiasmed me a lot. Best, Nicolas.

Regret my words as I know I will be attracted to a new watch from one of the other brands too. Ihavejust been burned lately with recent purchases... But will take a rolex breather for now!
