GO Senator Chronometer a slap on face of AL&S

When A. Lange created the Langematik movement with a boost of its reset-to zero second function to add precision to setting, I always think that it makes sense only if the minutes hand also moves spot  on and move in exact increment of 1 min a time on setting. Actually, it takes quite a bit of trick and luck in the current Langematik movement to prevent the swinging of minute hand when you push back the crown, making the reset-to-zero function quite meaningless. Then I found that GO comes up with the Senator Chronometer in Basel 2009 that 100% fulfill my dream and in a simple and elegant manner. I always consider GO second best compared with A. Lange in term of movement finishing, aesthetic, and has owned and sold a GO shortly to make room for a Lange. Personally I think it is a shame that A. Lange did not carry on R&D and let GO  to take the first and instead focus on a no of fancy watches like the 31-day, the split minutes chrono, a fussy fussee chain PLM.
