During the last year we have seen many great examples of GP Gyromatic’s here!

But what we haven’t discussed is how to display them or how to wind them.

It is of course a personal taste of how to… But here is one way you could to do it!

 

Watch holders, an easy way to display your Gyromatic.

 

But how to wind it?

Of course you can wear your Gyromatic on your wrist and it will wind itself. Problem is if you have several….

 

Well, then you can always go to your “green box”…

Old, almost fainted gilt text “GIRARD-PERREGAUX, Fine watches since 1791”…

 

Patent pending and room for three Gyromatic’s!

The disk holding the three watches are rotating clockwise and in the same time each watch holder rotates counter clockwise…

Ah, yes! The GP Gyromatic Watch Winder. For self-winding watches.

Now I only need to get a Swedish plug and my problems are solved…!

 

Yes, I know I am a bit… But I do LOVE this kind of accessories to our watches!

1 Q: does one need to change the position (of one watch after the other) on the triangled plate, so as to vary the winding directions ? Quite remarkable instrument you\'ve got there ! Best, my friend

No need for change, the winder will do the work for you!

The big disk holding the three watches are rotating and in the same time all three watches are rotating around their own axis! So it doesn't matter which position - all of them rotates the same amount. Best, my friend Blomman

Love that vintage winder Blomman. I do keep 4 of mine wound and wear each in turn! Then do a little swap around! Helps if you turn it on though!! ...
