Just got this back in working order keeping excellent time. But I feel that it might need some extra TLC form the manufacture. The dial looks like it needs a clean. Any advise guys. The old and the new!...

I think the small spots on the dial is nothing you can or should do about. Normally, not noticeable when on the wrist, so perfectly fine. Love that watch, once again. CC

Yes I agree that it is super cool. it just the dial deserves better. I don't understand why people don't take better care of such great watches! Hack set does not work either. but it keeps great time.

sometimes it is difficult to understand what people did to their watches, I agree, but yours looks in pretty good shape. BTW: are you sure it should have hacking seconds? I don't think Cal 32A had that? CC

I thought they did. I will check. Thanks cc. Posted two close ups. For me its quite good photography. On my club mag. Rover made my car in 1966 as well. GP made my Observatory chrono and England won the world cup, 1966, a good year all round.

CC we have paid doubly for that. Madonna's hand of god and goal not given against Germany, so its some you win, some you lose.

You were right no hack until the second generation of the movements 40+. So nothing to do to the movement only the dial well maybe.

I will think about leaving it as is. I may get the dial cleaned David Bills but that will be all I think. thanks again for your input. And your both right its a great watch.

I love it! Looks very similar to mine, just with a bit different indices on the dial and different hands. And very unusual hands at that! Love them! Please post more pictures for us to see! Here is mine Daniel ...
