Grand Seiko don't do sub seconds dials?

I've been really interested in the SBGW231 for a while now, It has a real Calatrava feel to it. But I can't help wondering how much better it would look with a sub seconds dial rather than central seconds. Pushing that thought on further I wondered what it would looking like with a black dial, white/silver sub dial like the IWC attached. I sure it will never happen but it would be a very attractive watch if it did come to being.

I don't recall ever seeing a GS set up with small seconds, is it against their design philosophy or deemed inferior?
