Well, I've been bitten pretty hard by the JLC bug. Bought my first JLC, a Reverso Tribute Moon about 6 months ago. Found the Triptyque (see other thread) about 2 weeks ago.


I'm going to look at a Gyrotourbillon 1 next week that is for sale.  Recently serviced, and appears to be in very nice condition.

Anyone here own one? Any suggestions or advice most appreciated...

Definitely serious money. 2 sold at auction in 2023 (one at Sothebys and one at Phillips). Both hammered at around $89k, so with commission, they each sold for around $113k

I'm not sure what 2006 retail was, but I'm sure it was a BIG number. Hard to believe it's 18yrs later, and it still looks amazing. Timeless design!

For what you get relatively cheap considering what other watches go for

I'm partial to the Master Grande Tradition Gyrotourbilon 3. My wife got me the jubilee ultrathin for our wedding, and all the magazines showed the jubilee and the gyro together.
