Help me identify this watch
I have recently acquired a Vacheron Constantin watch which my father purchased new in c 1969-70.
Somebody at Vacheron in London has said they have seen something similar but never with a face of this shape. Can anybody provide any further information about it.
I am awaiting a certificate of authenticity from Vacheron which I hope will give me a little more information, but can only say at the moment that it has the number 501776 stamped on the back of the watch casing, and the number 2142 stamped on the bracelet.
