the following AHCI master's some direct questions.
Hi,
I will be going to Switzerland shortly to meet with the following AHCI members:
Vincent Calabrese (waiting confirmation but confident)
Svend Andersen
Philippe Dufour
Andreas Strehler
Peter Speak-Marin (not an AHCI member, but does make his own watches. See "Peter Speak-Marin" thread.)
The plan is to write articles on each master and post them here for your pleasure. To increase this pleasure, I would like to include you all in the process.
If you post or email specific questions for these masters I will ask them for you. Whether it is about a particular watch, philosophy, training, etc... (I will ask questions about other watchmakers, e.g., "what do you think of Franck Muller, Mr. Calabrese?" but keep in mind that they may not be willing to reveal such opinions for public record).
This is a unique opportunity to ease your minds of those pesky thoughts and questions that are never completely answered in printed articles of these masters.
I look forward to your questions, receiving answers and reporting back to you all.
