How well is a Omega Speedy Pro with a 50 meter water resistance rating
protected against contaminants, dust, etc? I was wearing my new Omega
Speedy Pro the other day while installing some insulation
(mineral wool/fibre glass to be exact) in my house. Afterwards I started to wonder if it was possible if any particles from the insulation that may be abrasive could have gotten past the seals of the crown and pushers into the
watch potentially damaging the watch/movement. I usually do not wear my watch when doing such activities. Perhaps nothing more than compulsive worry.
