I decided to wear this today as a tribute to the 60th anniversary of James Bond.
While it’s far from having the coolness factor of Sean Connery’s Submariner, it’s still kind of cool because it’s the first James Bond Omega, the “Bond Seamaster”.
This one happens to be the 41mm quartz version (Ref. 2541.80) worn by Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye. The Ref. 2531.80 is the automatic version. And then there’s the mid-size quartz version (Ref. 2561.80) best known as Prince William’s daily wearer because it was a gift from his mother, Lady Diana.
