I'm always surprized by Omega ...
I was looking a set of old pictures of watches of a dear friend and this one "smiled to me":
I don't know if the dial/hands are original (I don't think so) but it's a perfect "macho" 70's styled watch:
The case, the bezel ... perfect IMHO.
Even the mesh bracelet seems to be a perfect match (I hate mesh bracelets - way too complex to put on the wrist!!!).
I go to dig deeper on my pictures and do a quick research to obtain more information about this one.
This is a "rusty" that I can't resist, if one shows up (I know, very hard to find), it's mine.

I have some urgent priorities, such as a few other Vintage Fifty Fathoms, a Tudor 7159, a Polaris II Red, but now, I am starting to pay some huge interest on the Ploprof... I also have to confess that I am preparing a huge article on vintage diving watche...

Is a mystery to me. When I saw one for the first time my reaction was "what ugly watch!" but after some time there's beauty on this beast. Beautiful!!!! Cheers, Nilo

Personally I have never liked this one but it looks good on the wrist. Desperately waiting for the divers article , is it only on omega divers?
The Omega PloProf evokes a lot of dive history and nostalgia.
On the wrist you will be amazed at how it fits. But this not really a watch to wear to the office but a great watch to wear on casual events. Great conversation piece. Bill
