I'm a fan of danish/mid-century modern design. The more modern, the better. Anyone who knows me well would think I would be aching for a Urwerk 103 or Opus V. They are certainly very interesting designs, but for the price...I just don't think they're THAT interesting.
Because of my admiration of things that are modern, I am puzzled by my absolute LOVE for Breguet! The style of Breguet is anything but modern, and would clash with anything I own, but I can't help it. They're just so beautiful!!
Upon piddleing around the net one day, I stumbled across this little fellow..
I took a closer look to make sure it wasn't a Paul Breguette. Nope, it's a Breguet alright, but it certainly didn't look like one. Even so, it is very nicely styled. I figured it was from Breguet's dark years when it had faded into the background and blended in with everything else. It was described as being from the 20'-30's, but I would figure more 50'-60's. I didn't bother looking at the price 'cause I figured it was much like the Maserati Kayalami. Sure, it's a Maserati and sure, it's rare. But no-one really wants one.
For trivial reasons, I saved the pics.
As a week or so passed, it popped in my head one day. I thought, "Pity, it'll probably wind up with someone who doesn't really know what it is. But then again, who'd want a mid-century modern Breguet? Wait a minuite......I WOULD!!!!" What was I thinking? I wasn't thinking.
I have looked and looked and looked to find this watch again and for the life of me, I can't. If anyone knows of this watch, PLEEEEEAAAASSE let me know.
If anyone has any knowledge they can share of this particular model, it would be most appreciated. Even if it does lead to me kicking myself harder.
