I went to the Patek Salon in Bond St
And picked up some new boots for the 6000G
Being in London and with no plans to visit the PP Salon I wasn’t wearing a watch. It is silly to take risks in Town. The S.A. told me not to fit the strap myself but take it to an AD. I ignored the advice but she was right… replacing the retaining screw gave me severe anxiety and caused a crick in my neck! What a pain but worth it for summer. It replaces the semi shiny grey alligator strap and gives the watch a sporty vibe.

I hate the screw, that's why I like buying a tang just for ease of strap changes.
