It all started with the GP......
I was blown away when the first pictures of the GP came out a few months ago. I called my AD on that day and got first in line for it. A few months went by, and I was finally able to see the watch in the flesh. It is an amazing watch, but I had the same feeling I had, when I bought my bumblebee ( I ended up selling the watch a month later). The problem is that I am not particularly fond of watches that are very colorful. I am not a flashy dresser(or a flashy anything for that matter)and I like my watches to be neutral and versatile. Although I think the GP is an incredible watch, I realized that at least the carbon version was not for me. The RG version looked awesome and I ended up liking it better. I called my AD to see if he could get me the RG instead of the carbon. Last week I ended up visiting my AD to take my "Panda" for service (it was gaining about 45s per day) While I was there I asked him about the RG GP and he told me that he did not have confirmation yet on when he would be getting it, but it should be within the next 2 months. He told me to wait a minute because he had something that he wanted me to try on. The rest is history.......

I Love it, RG, classy, neutral, and half the cost of the GP. I even sold my wife on how I was being frugal in these times of economic distress.

Like you, I love the concept of the GP but walked away in the end due to the colour rich dial. Being a big fan of the various 'ground breaking' pieces I was REALLY keen to see the GP coming into fruitation. Seeing the piece in real I could almost 'talk' m...
