Vacheron Constantin

It looks so desert...

First of all, I have to confess I am far from been a high end watches collector or connoisseur.

Just by a stroke of luck, I came across to a pre-owned Vacheron Constantin Phidias about a month ago, I liked it and bought it. And by a second stroke of luck, I came across to this Forum, I liked it very much and I posted a message and was greatly encouraged. Needless to say, I became an assiduous reader. Before a VC fan, I was first converted to a Vacheron Constantin Discussion Forum's fan. Almost two weeks ago, I purchased my second VC. This is a simple manual wind wristwatch(Les Essentielles?), in YG, tear drop lugs, second auxiliar, circa 1965, and I have been struggling to take some acceptable pictures on it, until now without success. Maybe I have to give up doing it by myself and ask some professional help in photography, in order to share my great joys, my happiness with all the Forum participants.

But, in a past couple of days, I have found this Forum quite desert. In the last month, I have read most of the past messages posted here since the second half of 2001, learnt a lot and felt a true human warm. But now, what's going on, my fellow VCDF fans?

Sorry for my poor English expressions.

Best regards,

Jian
